Recognizing that most leadership programs are based on masculine models of leadership,
we created the WILO program to address the unique ways that women develop as leaders. By focusing on how women learn and grow, and what’s really necessary to lead effectively in today’s turbulent environments, we designed a program that unlocks a woman’s capacity to nourish her body, heart, mind, and soul—while generating tangible, meaningful results.
As many women today do not see themselves as leaders, we begin with redefining leadership for these challenging times. We view leadership as a way of being and doing that transcends the focus on roles, power, competition, and control associated with traditional leadership paradigms.

WILO activates The Feminine Code™ and awakens women’s untapped leadership potential by weaving together the following unique elements:
- Transformative. Many leadership programs focus on learning new theories or acquiring new skills. WILO not only offers leading-edge theories and new behavioral tools, it also enables fundamental transformation of outdated patterns in all areas of a woman’s life. WILO helps you wake up to your full value as a woman and express that value freely and authentically.
- Integral. Drawing upon the extensive work of Ken Wilber, Robert Kegan, Susanne Cook-Greuter, and other leading theorists, our comprehensive approach integrates a diversity of systems, academic disciplines, and forms of knowledge—from the wisdom of ancient shamans and sages to today’s breakthroughs in cognitive science—into five essential elements that are key to facilitating human development.
- Accelerated. Although radical transformation doesn’t usually happen in a single weekend, it doesn’t need to take years. Applying ten years of experience in delivering women’s leadership programs, we developed WILO, our unique, four-month curriculum that accelerates true transformation without sacrificing artistry, enjoyment, academic excellence, or deep connection.
- Theory- and Research-Based. We combine stimulating theories from innovative thought leaders with our extensive experience and research in women’s growth and development. We continually and systematically review how women in our programs are transforming and update our curriculum accordingly. This rigorous, experiential curriculum has qualified WILO as a University Certificate Program through the LIOS Graduate College of Saybrook University.
- Embodied. WILO teaches you to access ways of knowing that engage all three centers of intelligence—thinking (head), feeling (heart), and sensing (body)—so you can bring a holistic understanding to complex issues. Developing these ways of knowing requires your commitment to practicing new ways of being as well as full engagement in every aspect of your life during the WILO journey.
- Individually Tailored. Each participant works intimately with an Integral Coach throughout the entire WILO program. Using a comprehensive integral assessment process, your coach will skillfully customize the program to support your unique development.
- Supportive and Catalytic. WILO provides a dynamic learning community to initiate and support your personal transformation. The WILO Circle offers a powerful experience of being in trusting, supportive relationships with other women.
- Beautiful and Imaginative. We actively engage your sensing and feeling nature by designing our instructional materials and working environments to be beautiful, inspiring, and delightful.
